Susie Ellen (Miller) Pratt, age 64, of Adrian, passed away, Thursday, September 29, 2011, at the home of her son, Eric & Rebeca Parsons, surrounded by all of her family. Susie was born November 3, 1946, the daughter of Wesley & Ethel (Knoblauch) Miller. She married David Pratt in June of 1967. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. She loved spending time with her family, friends, kids and grandchildren. She also loved spending time outdoors, family gatherings and doing crossword puzzles. She was also a big fan of Elvis Presley. She is survived by six sons and one daughter, Rick (Deanna) Miller of Tecumseh, Cindy (Marc) Hoag, Greg (Kim) Pratt, Mike (Amanda) Pratt, Tim Pratt, Mark Hossler, Eric (Rebeca) Parsons all of Adrian, one sister, Carol Miller, one brother, Robert (Connie) Miller, both of Adrian, her grandchildren, Jeremie, Bryan, Stacie, Kassi, Taryn, Jessee, Brandon, Taya, Austen, Bryce, Ethan, Audrey, Gavin, Karsen and Collin, great grandson, ! Landen, two nephews, Chris McGown and Robert Miller, three nieces, Michelle Gilbert, Jamie McGown and Andrea Rice, her dear friend, Rick Soto and several aunts, uncles, cousins, great nephews and nieces. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with Rev. Michael Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. RONALD A. KIRK LAS VEGAS, NV Ronald A. Kirk, age 46, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Valparaiso, IN and South Chicago Heights, IL, passed away on March 10, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. He will be joining his Grandma and Grandpa Ross, various aunts and uncles, and friends. He was the dearest son to Glenna Hartford (Kirk) of Chicago, IL and Darrell Sr. and Mary Kirk of Portage, IN. Ronald was the loving brother to Darrell Jr. (Beth Devereaux) Kirk of Seattle, WA, Susan (Pete) Dres of Valparaiso, IN and Garnett (Jennifer Palmer) Kirk of Cedar Lake, IN. He was also a brother to Dawn Stover, Kim (Steve) Corley, Debbie (Stover) Hiland, Emma (Kirk) Kopek, James Kirk; and a beloved nephew to his dear aunt Blanche. He was also the fond uncle to various nieces and nephews. The visitation has been set for Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 2:00-8:00 PM at the Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 and Pleasant Springs Lane) Dyer, IN. A funeral service will be held Friday, March 23, 2! 012 at 10:00 AM at the Smits Funeral Home. A funeral procession will follow immediately to the final resting place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery - Elwood, IL. Mr. Kirk served as a United States Marine, was a former Ford Motor Company employee at the Ford Stamping Plant in Chicago Heights, IL, and was a history major at UNLV. He was an eccentric runner and a proud member of the international running club, "Hash House Harriers". He laid many trails and took part in many hashes across the country ...
